Exciting new things in the South..

Well maybe some won't find it as exciting as the new things from Auckland but...
I spent my Friday evening at the garden store and most of my Saturday in the sun and garden. Oh it was bliss, (not really but looks good now).
A bit of progress for the gardens.
And I has collected my new lights.
Not to be outdone by Matt and Amy. The fruits of my... 'labour' was delicious this morning. Hehe

All things colourful and happy

Well it's been a wee while and a few new little things. Have included a few photos of the greater areas and a little update in buddy.
He's a happy boy when I get home and just trying to figure out how I am going to be able to leave him off his leash during the days.
New furniture for the bedroom.
New lights for kitchen, dining, laundry
New rubbish and recycling bins. Very cool.
Saving now for the kitchen. !

Buddy update..!

Well there was a request for a video, so I'll give it a go.
Went to the beach today with Jodie's/Jodie's parents dog. Quite worried at first that Buddy would eat it but all went well and he was a VERY good boy, of course.

 Buddy's new bed. I think he likes... Alternatively he is just very tired after his big day. Maybe both.

Games of tag went on for some time including a paddle out to see in the waves.

Progress update 02

Well well... A second update in a night. There's been lots to do and just not sure where to start. Nothing too serious but is a nice distraction when you arrive home from work, good to have things to do not involving a computer.
All skirtings to hall sanded and one door complete, 3 to go. Quite time consuming. First sand complete only. Vege garden coming along nicely.
Lots of weeding and trimming still happening. More big piles of weeds.
Any volunteers will always have a bed to stay in.

Akaroa surfing trip

Just a wee update. Spent the day on Saturday around Akaroa and bays surfing a a few bays. Very cool day. Buddy loves the car and was very good and relaxed.
He was even good at the multiple cafes. Didn't eat any children or small dogs.

New addition

Well. Everyone's aware of Buddy. But a few wee photos and update on the wee fella.
He's a particularly lazy individual and pretty clingy. Quite a wee sook.

Progress update 01

Well it seems like a good idea and may inspire some progress about the place so will do renovation works updates every now and again to save those from visiting that don't want to get ropes into sanding.
More trees have come down in the front yard and have now been removed Cabbage tree has been given a severe birthday. Quite an amazing amount of rubbish from that one tree.
Some very cool laundry buckets.
A vegetable garden. Yes I have grown up. Maybe.
The next job is to edge the front lawn and re-sow, now that I'm finished destroying trees.
